My name is Kukka-Maria Kiuru and I'm a Creative, Art Director, Visual Designer and Artist creating creative ideas, illustrations and multisensory experiences by play. I also do mentoring, give talks and host Creative Play Workshops for adults and various groups. I believe play feeds creativity, creates joy and leads to better creative solutions.
In my work I create concepts, creative marketing solutions, bring up ideas and play with physical and digital material to create new innovative methods for creating visual designs. I also write and draw comics and characters. Joy and curiosity drives me forward. Spreading good energy and kindness through my work is important. Power of play is incredible.
My professional background is in art direction and graphic design in visual communication and marketing. I have Master of Arts degree from University of Lapland 2007 and I am Pictoplasma Academy Alumni 2014, a master class of character design, Berlin.
